| Langelands Museum is the museum of cultural history for the islands of Langeland, Siø and Strynø. It is in charge of heritage management concerning archaeology on the island of Ærø, as well as on its "home islands", and for the underwater archaeology for the whole of the county of Funen. The museum was founded in 1900 by the merchant Jens Winther and is owned by the municipality of Langeland. The museum has eight permanent exhibitions scattered over the island. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The museum's main building has a large archaeological collection. On display are very impressive finds from the Stone Age to the Viking Age. |
